AGL Regional Conferences give you a low-cost, local alternative to expensive, week-long national conferences. Full registration for each conference is only $75 and includes a continental breakfast and luncheon.
Here's a sample of what attendees of the San Francisco AGL Regional Conference had to say:
"I think the cost and the 1-day time frame were both excellent." - Ellen Magnie, Deployment Manager, AT&T
"The conference mirrored the magazine in providing information that was beneficial for a single tower site owner such as myself. It's also helpful for me to learn what the providers are doing." - Jeff Shaffer, Managing Partner, Broadcast Associates
"Informative. Great people with significant knowledge. Sincere interest in the sharing of information." - Joseph DuCoeur, Horizon Tower, LLC
"It was a good mix of information. Continue with the same subject matter." - Linda Paul, Zoning and Government Affairs, T-Mobile

HOW NEW TECHNOLOGIES WILL IMPACT CARRIERS & TOWER OWNERS
As the wireless world hurtles toward the high-speed data future, there will be a dramatic increase in the number and types of antenna/tower sites required. How can carriers and tower owners meet the demand? Distributed antenna systems (DAS) will play an ever-increasing role. What are the challenges and opportunities in deploying DAS? And how can carriers and tower operators meet the backhaul capabilities required by a staggering increase in digital traffic? These issues will be addressed in depth by a distinguished panel of industry experts. HOW TO USE A CAMPAIGN APPROACH TO WIN SITING APPROVALS
Winning site approval is a time-consuming, expensive and frustrating process for carriers and tower operators alike. This panel will show how mounting political-style campaigns can reduce opposition and will also explore the use of public/private joint ventures that bring together service providers, city governments, businesses and users to improve wireless coverage. It will also present valuable insights on how to identify and use your allies to win approval.
HOW TO INFLUENCE THE ADOPTION OF "GOOD" WIRELESS ORDINANCES
A growing number of municipalities are now adopting wireless ordinances. Some of the rules will have a broad impact on both macro-cell and DAS siting. Who writes these ordinances? What are the components of the ordinances? What makes these ordinances harmful to the wireless industry? How can you influence both the writing and adoption of the ordinances? THE ART OF NEGOTIATION: LEASE OPTIMIZATION IN THE 4G WORLD With the introduction of 4G and other next-generation technologies, all of the signs point toward a flood of amendments on tower leases across the country as well as the need for additional sites. Does this give tower companies the upper hand in lease negotiations? Or can the carriers successfully keep a lid on rising rental prices?
FEDERAL REGULATION CHANGES: WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW NOW
The rules regarding towers are in a state of flux as the FCC and FAA streamline their processes to keep pace with new technologies. This panel will cover changes in rules concerning tower lighting and marking, the Draft MOU between FEMA and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, pole attachment rules, the FCC's Antenna Structure Registration (ASR) program, as well as new services such as the FCC's Spectrum Dashboard. AND MUCH MORE -- INCLUDING CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, LUNCHEON AND NETWORKING. REGISTER TODAY AND WE'LL SEE YOU IN VIRGINIA ON MARCH 4!
