Our mission is to promote the wireless industry and to allow for exchange of ideas and synergetic relationships between members of the VWA and beyond. VWA strives to educate the public and Virginia's political boards and leaders, and we cooperate with other wireless organizations, especially in Maryland and Washington, DC.

Membership/Social focusses on building a membership base and organizing social events before/after our meetings.

Regulatory / Legislative:

The regulatory/legislative committee focusses on dealing with regulatory obstacles that impact the wireless industry. In addition we will be fighting any legislation that adversely impacts the industry and proposing legislation that will benefit the industry (collocation by right is a great example).

Public Relations deals with press inquiries and tries to get press coverage for our meetings and accomplishments.

Education focusses on organizing meetings to provide elected officials, planners and schools with educational information about the wireless industry.
